FAQ
1. Is my data stored securely?
Yes. Your data is stored securely with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. Meshy maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2 certifications, and strictly adheres to GDPR standards.
2. Are my uploaded assets and files safe?
Yes. All assets — including 3D models, images, and generated outputs — are stored securely and kept confidential. Only authorized systems have access to your files.
3. Can my data be used to train Meshy's AI models?
It depends on your plan:
Non-Enterprise customers: As outlined in our Terms of Use, Meshy may use anonymized user data for future model training as development requires. (Please note that “Non-Enterprise users” refers to all users who subscribe to a plan directly through the Meshy website without an Order, regardless of whether the plan is an individual plan or a team plan. )
Enterprise customers: Your data will not be used for AI training. This is explicitly prohibited under our Terms of Use.
4. How do I opt out of having my data used for model training?
If you’re a non-enterprise user and don’t want your data used to train our models, email support@meshy.ai with the subject line “Request to opt out of Meshy data training.”
In the email body, please clearly state that you’d like to opt out of training and also include the email address associated with your Meshy account so we can locate and process your request.
5. How are Enterprise customers' data protected differently?
Enterprise customers receive enhanced data protections. Meshy is not authorized under its Terms of Use to use Enterprise customer data — including assets, uploads, or generated content — for any AI model training. This protection is contractually guaranteed.
6. Where does Meshy source its AI training data?
