# If one generation fails, will my credits still be deducted?

**No — if a generation fails due to a technical error, your credits are automatically refunded.**

You can verify this in **Settings → Subscription → App Usage History**, where each generation is logged with its status and credit usage.

**When credits are NOT refunded**

Credits are only refunded for technical failures. If a generation *completed successfully* but the result didn't look the way you wanted, that counts as a successful run — no refund is issued.

In that case, we recommend using a free retry instead (see below).

**Free retries per plan**

If you're unhappy with a completed result, you can re-run the generation for free — no credits deducted:
