# If I cancel the generation, will my credits be refunded?

It depends on where your generation is in the process:

• **Still in the queue**: If processing hasn't started yet, cancelling will result in a full credit refund.

• **Already processing**: If the generation has already started, cancelling will not result in a credit refund.

If a generation finishes but doesn't meet your expectations, you can use your plan's free retries instead of spending more credits:
