How do I Export Multiple Animations into a Single File for Blender?

How to export a Meshy Model with multiple usable animations in a single file for Blender.

Updated yesterday

1) Rig and add animations in Meshy

Select your textured model, then select Rig in the animation settings from the toolbar on the left of your workspace. You can check this article for a detailed Meshy rigging and animating guide.

Then you can add different animations to your model from our animation library.

2) Download the rigged and animated model

After all of your favorite animations are generated, you can download them as a single file.

Download - Animation - All Added - Single File

3) Import and switch animations in Blender

After importing the file into Blender, locate the editor panel in the bottom-right corner. Click the editor type selector (the icon in the top-left of the panel) and choose “Dope Sheet” from the dropdown menu.

In the Dope Sheet editor, click the editor mode selector in the top-left corner and choose “Action Editor” to view and manage animation actions.

Use the “Browse Actions to be linked” dropdown in the Action Editor to access all animations previously assigned to your rigged model in the Meshy web app. Selecting an action will display the corresponding animation.

Now, you can display and use different animations within the same file in Blender.
