βœ… What Kind of Meshy Models Are Best for 3D Printing?

  • Closed model β€” no mesh holes or gaps

  • No floating or loose parts

  • Flat and stable base β€” helps stick to the print bed

  • Avoid large overhangs β€” steep angles may need supports

  • Keep thin details strong β€” fragile parts can snap

  • Start simple if you're new to 3D printing

πŸ’‘ Tips for Better Prints:

  • πŸ› οΈ After exporting from Meshy, check and clean up any issues with your model in Blender, Meshmixer, or Microsoft 3D Builder.

  • πŸ–₯️ Use slicers like Cura or Bambu Studio to preview your model and catch issues before printing.

  • πŸ—‚οΈ Check out the 3D Printing category on the Community Discover page β€” it shows a curated selection of slicer-tested models.

⚠️ Note: You may still need to trim models to create a flat base or add supports depending on your printer and settings.

Additionally, when you have a model selected, the Print icon will show these options:

There, you can add a base, carry out the full color 3D print and ship, or send to Bambu.
