✅ What Kind of Meshy Models Are Best for 3D Printing?
Closed model — no mesh holes or gaps
No floating or loose parts
Flat and stable base — helps stick to the print bed
Avoid large overhangs — steep angles may need supports
Keep thin details strong — fragile parts can snap
Start simple if you're new to 3D printing
💡 Tips for Better Prints:
🛠️ After exporting from Meshy, check and clean up any issues with your model in Blender, Meshmixer, or Microsoft 3D Builder.
🖥️ Use slicers like Cura or Bambu Studio to preview your model and catch issues before printing.
🗂️ Check out the 3D Printing category on the Community Discover page — it shows a curated selection of slicer-tested models.
⚠️ Note: You may still need to trim models to create a flat base or add supports depending on your printer and settings.
Additionally, when you have a model selected, the Print icon will show these options:
There, you can add a base, carry out the full color 3D print and ship, or send to Bambu.
