FAQ
1.Why does upgrading show an error?
Certain payment methods have known limitations. For example, Alipay does not support upgrading from a monthly to an annual subscription — this is a known restriction. If you encounter this error, we recommend switching to a bank card (credit/debit) and retrying the upgrade.
2.Why is there no upgrade button?
If you subscribed using PayPal or Alipay, the upgrade button may not appear, or the upgrade may fail. PayPal subscriptions cannot be managed through the Stripe billing portal. To resolve this, please contact [email protected] and we'll manually cancel your current subscription so you can upgrade to a higher tier.
Please note:
Make sure you've used up all the credits on your current plan first — we're unable to refund or compensate for unused credits after cancellation.
We recommend upgrading via Stripe going forward, as it offers a discount.
3.Why did I only receive 2,000 credits when upgrading from Pro to Premium plan?
When you upgrade from Pro to Premium mid-cycle, you receive prorated credits for the remainder of your current billing cycle — not the full monthly allocation right away.
What this looks like:
First month (upgrade month): You'll receive the 2000 credits— prorated difference between your Pro and Premium credits for the remaining days in your cycle
From the next billing cycle onward: You'll receive the full Premium plan allocation, 3,000 credits per month, as with any regular subscription.
This is a one-time adjustment that only applies to the month you upgrade. Every cycle after that follows your plan's standard monthly credit amount.
