There are a few reasons why downloading a model might be blocked or unavailable. Here's how to find out what's going on:
1. Downloads not included on the Free plan
Downloads are not included on the Free plan. If you click Download and see a paywall, you'll need to upgrade your subscription.
Note: If you created private licensed models while on a paid plan, you can still download those an unlimited number of times — even after downgrading to Free.
More info on the Free plan here.
2. Browser or extension interference
Some browser extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools, VPNs) can interfere with downloads. Try the following:
Refresh the page and try again
Disable any browser extensions that might block downloads
Try a different browser (e.g., Chrome or Edge) to see if the issue persists
3. Server error when downloading
If you see a server error when clicking Download:
Refresh the page and try again
Wait a few minutes and retry — it's usually a temporary issue
If the error persists across multiple models, contact [email protected] and include the URL of the model you're trying to download
4. Files missing from your download (e.g., PBR textures)
If your downloaded zip is missing textures or PBR maps:
Make sure the PBR toggle was enabled during the texturing step
Re-run texturing with PBR enabled, then download again
If files are still missing, contact [email protected] with your model URL
5. Meshy 4 has been retired
As of March 2026, Meshy 4 has been completely retired and is no longer available for use. You can no longer generate new models with Meshy 4, and any Meshy 4 generation features have been removed from the platform.
