How Downgrading Your Plan Works

Learn when plan downgrades take effect, what happens to your credits, refund rules, and how to change to a lower plan in Meshy.

Downgrading your Meshy plan is scheduled, not immediate. Your current plan remains fully active until the end of your billing period.

When does the downgrade take effect

Your scheduled downgrade takes effect on your next renewal date — the last day of your current billing period. Until then, you retain full access to all features and credits included in your current plan.

You can verify the scheduled change under Billing → Overview → Next Bill.

Note: Upgrades work differently — they take effect immediately. See How to Upgrade My Subscription Plan for details.

How to Downgrade Your Plan

  4. Confirm the change — the new plan will begin on your next renewal date

FAQ

1.Why is the downgrade button not showing?

If the upgrade or downgrade buttons are missing from your subscription page, your subscription was most likely created through PayPal or Alipay. Meshy uses Stripe's billing portal to handle plan changes, which cannot manage PayPal/Alipay subscriptions directly. Contact [email protected] for assistance.

2. What's the difference between downgrading and cancellation?

Canceling your subscription is different from downgrading. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the billing period ends, then your account automatically moves to the Free plan. Canceling does not trigger a refund.
