Do you offer an education plan for students and educators?

Learn about Meshy's education plan for students and educators — apply for a discount or free Pro access at meshy.ai/education.

For students: We offer one month of free Meshy Pro. After the free month, you can continue your subscription at $5.99/month for up to 12 months. You will receive a discount code in an email if approved, which you can use when enrolling in the Pro plan.

For educational institutions and teachers: We provide discounted Studio Plans, or free Pro access in exchange for an official use case. There is no discount code offered for students. For educators, we'll share a simple Google Doc template for you to complete after your course or project wraps up, highlighting how Meshy was integrated into your class and showcasing key outcomes. As an educator, please check your inbox for a separate email outlining these options available to you.

To apply for an education discount, please visit our Education Plan page and complete the form by selecting your affiliation and submitting your details. Our team will review your application within 3 business days.

FAQ

1.Why haven't I heard back after submitting my application?

The review timeline depends on your email domain:

  • Whitelisted domain: Your application is automatically approved and you will receive an approval email shortly after applying.

  • Blacklisted domain: You will receive a rejection email.

  • All other domains: Manual review is triggered once the cumulative number of applications from the same domain reaches 20. We will send an approval email once the review is complete.

In all cases, once approved, you will receive a Your Meshy Education Plan Application Has Been Approved email containing step-by-step activation instructions.

2.Is the student plan limited to the Pro plan only?

Yes, the student education discount is exclusively available for the Pro plan. This special pricing is offered to individual students only and cannot be combined with other subscription tiers or plans.


3. If I apply for the student discount but don't keep up with the continuous payments, will I still be eligible for the discount after a break in service?

No. The student discount requires an active, continuously billed subscription. If your payment fails in any month or your subscription lapses, the student discount will be automatically canceled and cannot be re-applied to your account.

To maintain your student pricing, please ensure your payment method is up to date and your subscription remains active without interruption. If you experience payment issues, we strongly recommend contacting our support team at [email protected] as soon as possible — ideally before your subscription expires. This gives us the opportunity to help resolve the issue and preserve your student discount eligibility.


Please note: If you contact us after your subscription has already expired, we unfortunately cannot restore the student discount. Acting quickly is key to maintaining your discount status.
